Evening in the Park

From 4:30 PM until 7:30 PM

This event was just started in June of 2017 and is now slated to be held annually. It’s a very informal summer evening get together in Chaucer Park on a Sunday evening from 4:30 – 7:30. The event consists of one or two food trucks (cost of food to be borne by the homeowner), volleyball, cornhole, giant Jenga, horseshoes, music and just good company. Please contact the HOA board for further information about this event.

Shredding Event at Dumpster Day

From 8:00 am until 10:00 am

Shredding Event Info Dumpster Day and the Shredding event are for HOA members only (those who have paid their annual dues). Dumpster Day will be held from 7:30am to 11am, or until the dumpsters are full. The shredding event, however, will only go from 9am until 11am at Chaucer Park next to the dumpster. We cannot accept electronics, appliances, concrete, rock, dirt, large tree stumps, paint, liquids, medical waste, or any hazardous or flammable materials. You can check with stores where electronics are sold to see if they will recycle your electronics. Check with your trash company to see if they will pick up your appliances. As a reminder, the use of the dumpsters is only for those who have paid the annual HOA dues. But it’s never too late! If you haven’t paid by the date of the event, you can bring a check with you and pay when you check in. Or you can pay online one week prior to the event date. Concert in the Park

From 4:30 PM until 7:30 PM

Canterbury has held concerts at Chaucer Park over many years. The tradition had lapsed but was since re-started. “The Long Run” and Eagles tribute band and “Chris Daniels and the Kings” have played for the last five years, 2 years and 3 years respectively. These bands are Colorado staples and play great, fun music. Food trucks also come to this event (food at homeowner expense) and there is an entertainer who ties balloons for the kids. The turnout is excellent, usually 200 people or more. It is held in August, usually about the start of School, on a Sunday evening from 4:00-7:00. Contact HOA Board for further information about his event.

Fall Dumpster Day

From 8:00 AM until 10:00 AM

Dumpster Day Info Dumpster Day events are for HOA members only (those who have paid their annual dues). They are held twice a year at Chaucer Park on a Saturday, from 7:30am to noon, or until the dumpsters are full. We typically hold one in June and the other in mid to late September. Check the Canterbury Events Calendar for this year’s event dates. We cannot accept electronics, appliances, concrete, rock, dirt, large tree stumps, paint, liquids, medical waste, or any hazardous or flammable materials.
